Long story, but DH (normally lovely and quite intelligent) has managed to lose the Zibit I purchased for DS1. He is now without a Christmas present, everything is shut and I am sat here crying. If anyone had a spare one (and believe me, I know this is very very unlikely) in the Bristol area, please can you help us? He has got a book and a dvd to open tomorrow which I do know is more than lots of people. His uncles have bought him zibit accessories.....which will be a bit pointless without a zibit Sad

Why not try looking on ebay for any in bristol area? You could contact seller and ask to pick up tomorrow? Long shot but can't think of anything else sorry

DH has told him that it didn't arrive. He's only four and has taken it extremely well! Thank you for the sympathy. We've discussed how the naughty Zibit ran away and we need to catch him very soon. DH is still mortified.

TheSecondComing - it's so horrible when you just want it to be nice for them. I'm sure by the end of Christmas they will all be overwhelmed with gifts and won't remember at all. But we will Xmas Sad Hope your DD is ok x

What is a Zibit?

bloomingnora · 25/12/2010 21:04

A small radio controlled robot. We don't go completely wild at Christmas and it really was the only time he has had something in mind that he really wanted. Everyone felt so sad for him he will probably end up with 15.....

I lost the tie that DS bought for DH. Somehow that pales into insignificance now.
Xmas Sad

bloomingnora · 25/12/2010 21:43

He was great about it, really! I've ordered another from amazon and will try and get one tomorrow. Tie will turn up (just when it is replaced with another one, probably).

where did he lose it?

bloomingnora · 26/12/2010 19:08

Would you believe he accidentally threw it away?! Long story with extenuating circumstances though. Although the first thing I said was "You twat"...

Happy ending - managed to get one from Asda living today and DS1 is thrilled with it Xmas Grin
