Paper sticky labels - aargh! (I'm turning into a Grumpy Old Woman!)

Paper sticky labels - why?! I would happily pay 50p extra for something so they can use those plasticky ones that actually peel off. Why do they use these god forsaken things, and then plaster them all over the front of the product?

I agree with you completely on this though, i hate buying new plates, mugs or whatever and then having to fight to get a barcode off, along with all the sticky crap that comes with it.

I am in a very very grumpy mood tonight with all retailers everywhere. Not sure why really. Perhaps it's the thought of hitting Tesco tomorrow for the "big Xmas food shop" (it they've not discounted it all and sold out that is).

gaelicsheep I was in Tesco tonight and among the things I couldn't fine were:

chillis
ginger
big onions
strawberries or raspberries (not seasonal I know, but usually in stock all yr now)
tin of celebrations
cucumber fgs!!!

It looked OK in ours this morning so I'm hoping tomorrow morning should still be fine. I'm not wanting any of the things on your list, so fingers crossed! You can't really buy fresh food for Xmas much before now can you?

LOL @ my list! What I mean is that lots of things seemed to be gone! It's a crap Tescos tho, should know better.
