for the rest of tonight I want to wallow in my misery, eat chinese takeaway and eat chocolate.

So far this week ....

I have been informed that I did not got my own job that I have had to reapply for so will be made redundant in new year.

DH is facing formal disciplinary action for a pile of trumped up allegations from 2 years ago. He can't remember where we went on hols for last year so no chance of recalling detailed conversations he is meant to have had. He has been wallowing for past 2 months and is never positive about anything.

DD has been refedrred to see paediatrician(sp?)for worrying pile of symptoms

I also have mri scan booked to determine cause of intermittent dizziness and visual disturbances.

So AIBU for 1 night to forget the ironing pile (mountain)and the diet and the rest of the world???

Gosh that is a lot to deal with.

DS was sacked last month after what seemed to me very harsh disiplinary action and I was told yesterday that I didn't get my own job and will be redundant in the new year (I wonder?) We all mercifully have good health and DH is keeping his chin up, but I'm sat here mumsnetting and eating cake, so please do join me.

Is your DH getting proper representation?

Thank you for repies- my first thread ever!

Yes DH has union rep and support from colleagues at work but serious charges tho no evidence as all her word against his.
