I was considering implementing the Snow / Zombie Apocalypse plan but then I remembered how much I relished escaping the children for ten minutes in order to go out every day and buy that "crucial" whatever the fuck it was when the snow was here last...

I have been waiting patiently for a client to pay up ( late Angry he finally paid in part ( it's hard because it's Christmas apparently as though that means we work for free). Merrily went online to order some food for a big shop there are no delivery slots for my area until after Christmas - great. Since i don't have a car it means carrying all the shopping back from the shops on foot OR lugging it and 4 children on the bus assuming they are running!

ethelinaTheBloodyGreatXmasElf · 16/12/2010 02:57

mr tesco brought everything on my list except the After Eights Xmas Angry Bah Humbug.

Blackletterday · 16/12/2010 03:26

We are off into town to do a bit of shopping tomorrow. we have all actual presents, just the selection box/food bit we are lacking on.

We will do enough until the 23rd, when Mr Tesco is due to deliver our christmas delivery. If he doesn't, well god knows,it will be hiking it to Iceland and Waitrose and buying the dregs lol

We could be having spam and beans for christmas dinner. Doubt the kids would care mind.

I really hope there isn't loads of snow this weekend, or we will deffo be eating beans and spam in Jan. Dp has no holiday left.

NinkyNonker · 16/12/2010 08:49

Shouldn't bee too bad here (South Coast) but am thinking of getting delivery tonight instead of Sun just in case.
