Wouldn't put a real tree up yet - it'll be bald by Christmas day.

Why not get a plant mister and fill it with cinnamon infused water and a dash of brandy and spray the tree once every hour between now and 6th Jan? That way your tree with stay beautifully fresh and your home will smell truly festive.
