i live next door to a young couple who have 2 children,i was wary when they moved in but they actually have turned out to be very good neighbours.
BUT they have obviously upset some very evil nasty people not kids and they are being seriously victimised, i dont want to go into detail but things have seriously got out of hand, thing is there house is being targeted when i go out so i have been warned by the police im being watched so keep my doors, windows locked etc.
this is starting to get me very nervous and i really dont want to get involved, there was one incident where they had obviously gained entry to next door through my garden, left prints etc.
i was telling a close family member who said i was selfish thinking about myself when next door had real problems, but i cant help but think why on earth dont they move.

I dont think its selfish to be concerned for your own safety and honestly I think any one actually in the situation would feel the same.

There is not alot you can do...its a horrid situation.

If they move away you may get the neighbours from hell!!!

ItalianLady · 19/11/2010 16:16

Maybe they don't see why they should move?

YANBU to be worried for your safety but it is not your business to question why they stay there.

Tiredmumno1 · 19/11/2010 16:17

I bet they would love to move again, but havent got the money to do so.

could you get cctv installed, so you can keep yourselves and property safe.

pinkstarlight · 19/11/2010 16:26

when childrens lives are being threatened and the family pet has been killed to prove a point.surely its time to go.

Maybe they know things will be the same wherever they go if these enemies of theirs are so determined. What did the police say about them using your property to gain access to theirs?

Pancakeflipper · 19/11/2010 16:43

Problem is... They may leave but the evil people stay.. And whom do they pick on next?

Are the police clueless to whom is responsible?

pinkstarlight · 19/11/2010 16:49

they obviously have been targeted for a reason and they are keeping quiet about what it is, i get the feeling they are not telling the police all the facts. my neighbour is now obviously very upset and hes now talking about revenge.
