...about poppy wearing?

So, I saw this (glowstars.net/2010/11/the-poppy-appeal/) today and wondered what you think. Surely half the thing is wearing a poppy to make other bods aware of the campaign and others' need?

I think it's very important to be seen to wear one - there are still a lot of WW2 veterans around and I imagine they must like seeing people (particularly young people) actually wearing a poppy - a visual 'thank you' if you like.

I know my Grandad used to like actually seeing people wear a poppy.

Same with veterans of more recent conflicts of course.

Yes I'm sure cheryl cloe paid a lot for the swarowski crystal one but I'm assuming a big chunk of that was donated?

Yes I think poppies are just as much an awareness campaign as trying to raise funds.
