AIBU to threaten murder to any child who disturbs me for any reason bar an emergency during the last part of Spooks?

Ditto the dog. If she wants to go out, she goes out before or crosses her paws until 10pm.

Sky plus is your friend, and may indeed prevent you getting banged up for major overreactions

As long as you pre-warn them it seem just. How old are they?

abr1de · 08/11/2010 14:41

Twelve and thirteen.

NBU, but beware it may backfire when they ask for the same treatment during one of their programs!!! Grin

Thirteen-year-old will watch some of it. Has habit of reflecting on the nature of life or what happened in the lunch queue at school while characters are exchanging key nuggets, like: THERE'S A BOMB PLANTED IN A VAN. or, XXX WAS WORKING FOR THE OTHER SIDE.

Threaten with duct tape. Keep it handy and visible on the coffee-table. Wink

Shouldn't be a problem, can't imagine any court would convict you if you had to go through with it.
