That everyone has cool user names, and seems to know how to change their names, but I am stuck with this one?

Is there anything you're interested in? Books? hobbies? Something that grabs you by the throat and shakes you about when you think about it?

Click on "MyMumsnet" - it's in line with "By parents for parents" under the logo. Then do what you're asked, and after that go to your registration details. You can change from there. :)

Mine is crap, no one gets it. (They wouldn't it's an in-joke to me!)

I've had it for years though and don't want to start again, iyswim. So I'm sticking with the bad name.

yes you can namechange as many times as you want. it's great you can be as sad as me and change for every tiny event that heppens to be occurring.

Sorry my usual name laweaselmys confuses people looking for the words because there's no Capitals.

You can change as often as you like, and MN also keeps a handy record of your alter-egos. However, do not try posting on two separate threads in two different nics unless you have two separate machines; it gets very confusing if wine has been taken.

It wasn't supposed to be a thing that people got when I picked it. Just anonymous.

But MN is mostly joke/descriptive names, so a random one doesn't fit and gets queried a lot.
