On the ironong board front. I was stroking dd2's (3) back today. She sat up and said, "Mummy, why are you doing that? I'm not an ironing board." Aw.

Oh well, that's 30 seconds gone!

Could we talk about why some people feel the need to sit to the end of the credits when they go to the cinema?

I know three people who insist on doing it and they confuse me greatly.

Boo Ooo i did, my DS2 came back from college last night, to drop his car off for m.o.t.. (hes at college 3 hrs drive away), and we stayed up talking till 3 a.m.

Hes' gone back now ,but hes' really well and im feeling proud, because i brought him up all by myself!

my ex used to do this. he always thought there was going to be an extra bit afetr the credits that he would miss if we left before tehy were over. i have lost count of teh number of times i have waited for aaages to see a blank screen at the end of it all.

aww, jelly that's lovely. do you miss him alot? i can't imagine my dcs living away from me (they're still small so ages away yet). do you get on well with him?

I did something usual - I actually sucessfully navigated somewhere. OK I had friends sat nav and she was driving but we didn't get lost

i'm really bored too. i have so many things i could be doing but no motivation :-(

Once they leave home and have to deal with bills, relationships etc for themselves (hes' not in halls)i think they appreciate things a lot more.. he's still my little boy tho'[smile)

i get that!! i started to appreciate my mum so much more when i moved out.

Maybe people wait till end of credits, because they need to wake up?.. plus my bum always goes to sleep during films,i need my circulation to return by wiggleing etc..

Definitely! A chocolate delivery for all the singles, mums, dads etc who are stuck at home on a Saturday night, with Elton John and Rod Stewart on the telly..
