in thinking that tickets for Strictly are a postcode lottery ?

Both this year and last I applied for the random draw for SCD tickets, both years I was unsuccessful.

However a friend of mine living in Bristol too, but a "posher" part if you like, has succeeded both years running.

Hmmmm, I am starting to think I smell a rat here ??

Thinking into it further when I watch SCD on a Sat night from the brief glimpses you get into the audience they all seem fairly well to do.

Maybe its just me being overly suspicious.

We've got tickets for Saturday and definately don't live in the posh bit of our town.

I only have one really nice dress so that's what I'll be wearing. I suppose it could give a false impression though.

It would be kind of your friend to give you the tickets as she's already been once.

I am ridiculously excited!

Don't they tell you to dress up for it though, thus giving the appearance of 'well to do' when its just normal people in their posh clothes.

Yes, the ticket says - dress code - glamorous. My dress is from Next and the shoes are Primark.

Hey sparkle I live in Bristol too and likewise have never been successful with strictly tickets!!
TBH you never see many "normal" people in the audience, mostly looks like Z list celebrities who profess to be superfans lol

Good luck, hope you get some one day!

Just to let you know, all the people in the queue were ordinary bods just like us but the front two rows opposite the judges were reserved for celebs and friends of the contestents as was most of the block behind where Tess and Brucie stand.

We were in the first fifty in the queue but were right at the back. Couldn't see much but the atmosphere was fab.

I had a great time but I think in fairness to the millions of people who apply for tickets, that once you've been you shouldn't be allowed to apply again.
