I bought DD a hooded jumper from tesco and bought it at the self service till. It said I needed assistance as it had a tag. The assistant came and did something (goodness knows what) and I paid and left. The dizzy mare I am I forgot to pick up the receipt. Well I went to put it on her today and under the hood is a security tag. Grrrrrrrrrr. Well who can be bothered to visit a shop that I don't regularly go to just for that. Also you just know you will be treated like a criminal as no proof of sale is available. So ...... I decided to take some tools to it and ........yay it worked. DD now has a jumper to wear.

We had to do this to our youngest baby, we left the hospital the midwife took her off somewhere to remove the electronic tag but when we got her home and unwrapped her etc she still had the mini one on her foot. We tried to get through to the hospital etc but count seem to get hold of anyone and we were not about to drive all the way back so we had to use a pliers to get it off!

Ha ha brilliant. How annoying though. I can just imagine you trying to explain to the hospital that you didn't steal the baby......honest.

Yes they have a tag on and if they leave the ward the alarm goes off! Or at least it's meant to it obviously didn't when we left ? I don't know it was a pain to get off anyway, they are not small.
