I definitely would.

Maybe twice.

Har har!

I have put the bloke on profile for a nanosecond so you can all say I'm deluded and he bears no resemblance to RA Wink

The bloke complained this is a photo of him looking "old and tired" so go easy on him!

Sean Bean, I see your angle, but don't like his skin...

Theresaholeinyourmind · 28/10/2010 14:19

He looks lovely, Lotster. I hope you didn't mind me having a peek.

Meow75 · 28/10/2010 14:26

Hm, not bad, Lotster - ESPECIALLY if that IS him being old and tired [hgrin]

maybe I could put transfers on him while he sleeps Hmm

cupcakesandbunting · 28/10/2010 15:09

Hello, lovely RA stalkers admirers!

So, what's new in the world of armitage stalking? Wink

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 28/10/2010 15:24

cupcakes! I bet you didn't know what you were starting.

A small token of my thanks for

cupcakesandbunting · 28/10/2010 15:28

No need for thanks! I've got as much out of this thread as anyone. I am very grateful that there are MNers with too much enough time on their hands to YouTube for snippets of RA's acting prowess Grin

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 28/10/2010 15:38

Serious research on that scale is a hard job but someone's gotta do it.

That last vid is my fave at the moment but I do admit to a twinge of, er, nostalgia for the one with the Speedos

cupcakesandbunting · 28/10/2010 15:42

My favourite is still SexyBack 2. So well thought out.

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 28/10/2010 15:58

Very artistic I agree cupcakes. Great narrative thrust and lyrical flow.
To me, the beg/fetch one isn't bad either. But then I am a bit of a Guy freak. Which of course you have you failed to notice

RichardArmitagesSpeedos · 28/10/2010 16:12

Did someone mention Speedos?

MrsLucasNorth · 28/10/2010 16:40

Theresahole - a masterful piece of editing there - very impressed with its cinematic brilliance

Theresaholeinyourmind · 28/10/2010 17:07

Challenging and thought provoking isn't it, Mrs LN? I do like a bit of Ass Art Cinema
Not one for the DCs to catch you watching though.

MrsLucasNorth · 28/10/2010 17:37

Mine almost did! Dh out this evening. Haagen daz, wine & RobinHood series 2 eps 6-9 for me!

Lotster · 28/10/2010 17:43

I only thought about RA 37 times today.

MrsLucasNorth · 28/10/2010 18:34

I only though about him once, starting when I got up at 7 and...yup, still going! Have been such a bloody adolescent these last few weeks Blush!

40deniertights · 28/10/2010 20:31

Wondered where cupcakes had gone. Didn't think she could have forgotten! I've enjoyed being a teenager again too! My theory is that it is fantastic stress relief-essential in these busy modern times! As such you all deserve awards! Dc's have not complained too much about all the burnt potatoes, but they have wondered why I have been snorting (with laughter) and dribbling.

Fettle · 28/10/2010 20:45

I can't lurk any longer and not step out of the shadows!! You ladies have converted me to an tummy fluttering teenageravid admirer of broad shoulderssmouldering looks and leather trousers artistic direction(and made me howl with laughter over the last few days weeks![hgrin]).

I cannot stop thinking about RA - had such a fab dream about him the other night. I was apparently married to him before DH and we met up again and I really wanted to go back, but I couldn't be unfaithful to DH (even in a dream I'm too faithful!!Grin - tis not fair!!!).

So is North and South worth it (although I'm getting scarily into the leather trouser wearing Guy!!). Which would be the best for RA drooling my education?!Grin

Disclaimer for me, my DH is away at the moment, so this escapism is very healthy, but also becoming all-consuming!!GrinGrin. He won't know his luck when I see him again!![hwink]

Thanks again - and I hope you don't mind me popping in!

Lotster · 28/10/2010 21:17

Mwaah ha ha ha ha!!! Welcome to the fan club!

Grin
MrsLucasNorth · 28/10/2010 21:24

Just been catching up on the last couple of YoTube linksas couldn' get them on my phone.

Floppy shirts, leather kecks, uniform - is there anything that man doesn't look hot in?

Fettle · 28/10/2010 21:44

Whats strike back like? Feel with the subject matter I may have more luck watching that with DH? Is it worth it from a lusting acting viewpoint?

Oh why oh why did I not appreciate his charms sooner! I've been such a spooks fan for years!!! I blame being a bored lonely sahm at the moment!! [hgrin]. Must find something better to waste my days on - but then again why?!! What else is there....!Grin

MaudOHara · 28/10/2010 22:33

MrsLN I reckon he'd look hot in anything but am very fond of the scenes where he takes his shirt off - shame that couldn't have been incorporated more into N&S

Theresaholeinyourmind · 28/10/2010 23:18

Isn't this fun, though? And all in the best possible taste. I keep walking through my RL like a ghost, with a sappy smile on my face, as my mind is off elsewhere.

I can definitely rcommend N&S, Fettle. Mr Thornton may not be as dirrrty as he of the storied leather keks, but he gives good smoulder. And he looks divine when the floppy white cravat comes off. Don't forget the smelling salts.

PS AIBU to wonder why Amazon thought I might possibly be interested in this
