Every day in work, I seem to be, on the whole, the only one answering the phone. I know that one can get waylaid with something that can't wait, but today my colleague ignored the phone while she ate her damn sandwich before her lunch break as she does every freaking day and it really does bug me. The manager knows she does this, but will never, ever confront her over it.

Another time, same colleague was doing some paperwork that could've waited while she answered the phone but every time she didn't answer and I felt snowed under with the amount of calls I was answering.

If I told her I wasn't happy, she would probably end up crying or something.

Take the passive aggressive, battle of wills approach and just let it ring.

Ideally pick up the phone and make a call of your own.

Disclaimer: taking this approach means you have to take the group bollocking that will inevitablely follow, but at least the other two will have got the message that you're not their receptionist and will try sucking up to the manager for a bit by pointedly answering the phones.
