To have such a monumental whinge that it would make a good Country and Western song?

The crop that we were going to bale today got ruined last night.

The barn that has stood for almost 200 years finally collapsed and we received a snotty letter from the landlord saying that we should have informed him that were planning 'improvements'. Luckily no one was killed.

To my children - if you don't stop screaming and fighting, bears will come and eat you.

Someone stole my chocolate again and I just fell and skinned my knee.

Feel free to add your own gripe.

Sending chocolate and hugs (and hungry bears!)

moondog · 20/08/2010 14:24

Bugger.
What was the crop?
What happened? Sad

chaostrulyreigns · 20/08/2010 14:32

I think those bears should really be concentrating on the ChocolateStealist.Angry

tethersend · 20/08/2010 14:44

I stubbed my toe if that helps you put it in perspective a bit.

bigcar · 20/08/2010 14:49

may be it was the hungry bears that ate the chocolate when they couldn't see the children?

JodiesMummy · 20/08/2010 14:53

My DD was sick all over my bed last night, I have had to pack her off to her Nans as I CANNOT take time off from my awful stressful job and there is no food and very little wine in my cupboards. And I have been a vile bitch to DP which means no sex for me either.

SwansEatQuince · 20/08/2010 14:53

Thank you all very much.

The crop was hay, acres of it, all wuffled and ready for bailing today except it poured rain with avengance through the night. Dh is being his usual resigned self but I know he is disappointed.

There are other whingelets too - some heifers got 'caught' by the bull and are giving birth this week - the very week we decided to go away for a holiday (we have never been on holiday before) so thanks to bovine dirty stop- outness, we cannot go away.

The bears are most handy, thank you and I will feed them the littlest first. Wink

YABU- you can't have a country western song unless yoru dog dies or your husband leaves you for a tramp next door

BuntyPenfold · 20/08/2010 15:00

Wuffled hay sounds gorgeous, whatever it is, and I'm so sorry it was spoilt.
Will it recover at all?

BuntyPenfold · 20/08/2010 15:01

Oh look here, of course she can, sanielle, the bears are eating her children in verse 2.

sanielle · 20/08/2010 15:06

I am sorry but bears are not in the rules of country and western bunty you have it all wrong. Sigh... Times like this I miss the south.. a place where your dear ol' dog could die and people respected that.. None of this modernist child eating bear crap...

JodiesMummy · 20/08/2010 15:08

Are you wearing your dresses way too high though? And running round with men and going wild?

BuntyPenfold · 20/08/2010 15:09

Horrid vision of a child eating the bear crap...

sanielle · 20/08/2010 15:14

Spent ages trying to think how best to phrase that bunty was an eats shoots and leaves thing for me.. I'm tired and pregnant and don't think straight much anymore.

SwansEatQuince · 20/08/2010 15:22

Wuffled hay is when you go over the cut hay and fluffy it all up so the sun and wind can dry it.

I would paint up my lips and curl my golden hair a la Ruby but I'm having a bad hair day, of course. Bad hair, bad hay.

All the men around here are wild to the point of being slightly unhinged and wear tartan check shirts.

Oh, and the dog did die.

bigcar · 20/08/2010 15:23

do you think Dolly will be free to sing it for you? Alternatively, are you a lookey likee Grin Or a Mylee Cyrus duet with her dad Grin

sanielle · 20/08/2010 15:23

Blush SwansEatQuince sorry

BuntyPenfold · 20/08/2010 15:25

Oh, poor dear dog, sorry :(

(I hope your momma is not in jail.)

SwansEatQuince · 20/08/2010 15:52

Momma is looking after the dog....

Sun is now out and dh may try and rewuffle. I am not helping him with my wandering around with a face like a mile of bad road being woeful. Grin

Get more chocolae as a priority

SwansEatQuince · 20/08/2010 16:11

I found some Daem sweets.

I still want to kick the landowner up the bum for telling us that we have to ask his permission to mend his barn at our own expense.Angry

Should I grow a forelock especially and weave a nettle shirt?
