to declare it wine o clock at 4.30?

I've had a v stressful day with my ill 2yo and teething baby. They have both finally passed out from exhaustion and there's a nice chilled bottle of pinot grigio calling my name from the fridge...........

Pass me a glass please. Only 22 mins till I can go home - a nice chilled glass of pinot would make it go so much quicker.

I have poured one. Have had the most beautiful day. dh took a days holiday.
we got up early. made a huge picnic. went to Bushy Park. Saw all the Deer. Played in the park bit which has a huge sandpit.
Crossed the road to Hampton Court. Ds1 was impressed. then we went round the maze. cost £9. ds1 and ds2 loved it. we all did.

sat in pub by Hampton Court gates. had a lemonade. dh had a cider. went back and played in park bit of bushy park.

came home. opened a bottle of wine. made some brie and crackers. and some pate and crackers.

what a lovely lovely day.
