to think that beeping 5 different notes every time you scan each and every single item is excessive and unnecessary?

bloody waitrose scan your own shopping thingys are driving me demented. so much so i am now avoiding going in there because of the cacophany of beep BEEP beep BEEP BEEP surrounding me.
