Is it? Need a new tv obsession!

It's brilliant. Utterly fantastic.

But not laugh-out-loud funny, if that's important to you.

Brilliant. It took me a few episodes to get into, but it was very worth it. I am hooked. It's as much the script as the atmosphere.

it is absolutely bloody perfect, I have just bought series 1-3 on DVD for my mum. I can't evangelise enough about it. Do it do it you will be obsessed (oh, and you'll get a girl-crush on Joan Holloway as well, guaranteed)

It's bloody brilliant, although does take a while to get into series 1 I think. Once you're into it, there's no going back.

Have you watched, 'The Closer' - love it! The lead character is a chief constable, but unlike a lot of lead females, she doesn't flirt, isn't particularly charming, but quite effective.

series 4 starts in the US on sunday wish I was one of those clever people that can download programs online - I can never get them to work! Oh well will have to wait no doubt until next year for it to be shown of BBC
