I am worn out, I have a headache as DD2 wont stop whining/moaning/crying and nothing I do helps her.

DH has finished work early today and buggered off to the gym. Said he will be home in time for the DD's bedtime so will have a grand total of 4 hours at the gym!! I haven't been able to go once this week and am pissed off.

The house is a tip, I have nothing prepared for tea. I need to empty the dishwasher and fill it again.

Was gonna take the DD's out for a walk to see if that would calm DD2 down but it is now pissing it down. Too hot for a coat, cannot push buggy and hold umberella at the same time. Don't have a car (or a license anyway)

Aaaaarrrrrgggghhhhhh

YANBU. I haven't sone anything constructive today either (apart from look after the DDs.....but they're more destructive )

I'm now peed off with myself cos the washing basked overfloweth and the kitchen counter is full of dirty dishes, and the living room looks like a hurricane has torn through it. To compound matters I'm now sitting on MN rather than dealing with any of it.

Never mind......nearly wine o clock!

OMG Sapph, are you my twin separated at birth? It is the same here.

I keep thinking, nearly time for a glass of wine lol.

DH is back from the gym now and I am planning on letting him put the DD's to bed while I relax in the bath with a nice cold glass of rose

I think we are twins! DH has just poured me a lovely glass of rose! Enjoy your bath. I'm not having one cos I can't be arsed to clean it

insertwittynicknameHERE · 16/07/2010 19:27

PMSL, I will get DH to clean ours tomorrow while I have a break by going to work

I've done NOTHING.

I even told DH before he left for work at 8am this morning "Today I'm doing NOTHING" He's now gone straight to his 2nd job while I'm still wearing PJ's.

Lazy much? Hell yes I am!

WhereHasSummerGone · 16/07/2010 20:15

I've had an afternoon like this - house is a mess, dc's asleep and feet are up, forgot to get the glass of wine though...must get that now

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 16/07/2010 20:16

I have these at least once a week...YANBU at all, and congrats on it being unusual!!

insertwittynicknameHERE · 16/07/2010 21:00

Oooooh I am so glad it is not just me, I can relax now lol.

Had a fab bath, read some of my book and drank a very large glass of wine

Both the DD's are finally fast asleep. Taken ages as we have made DD1 go cold turkey from having bottles. She is 2.7 yo and we have really struggled to get her off her bedtime bottle Tonight is the second night!!

DD1 is back in the travel cot in our room for now so that she can get to sleep while DD1 cries!!
