I came across this shocking Facebook page whilst reading an article in dear I say it the DM. This man was a cold blooded killer who if given the opportunity would kill more. These lowlifes would not be saying that if he killed any of their relatives. This is the link, I hope that it works

rupert22 · 15/07/2010 18:21

I think its sad and stupid that chavs think this guy is a hero. He is a cold blooded murderer but.........freedom of speech was hard won, am not sure banning things isnt the slippery slope to soviet style living?

DameGladys · 15/07/2010 18:22

If David Cameron has failed to get it removed, I doubt we would tbh.

borderslass · 15/07/2010 18:29

They said that this page had been removed on the BBC news, but I can still see it.

pigletmania · 15/07/2010 18:38

Well worth a try though.

As much as I think these people are idiots, free speech is worth more to me and I'm not up for censorship.

StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 15/07/2010 19:12

I heard that the page's creator had removed it - and was extremely surprised that Facebook hadn't removed it as soon as it was brought to their attention.

ILovePlayingDarts · 15/07/2010 19:14

I totally agree that those who praised Moat are sick. However, as my dear bro pointed out, these articles are the result of sloppy journalism.

To leave any comment whatsoever on these type of pages, you have to click "like" before even leaving an anti-Moat comment.

So my bro had to click "like" to leave a comment pointing out that he was a domestic abuser who beat kids. (Bro can't understand any man doing that, he adores his children.) He also said he estimated that approx 75% of all comments were also anti-Moat.

So the reporters are simply looking at the total of "likes" without actually checking and seeing that most comments did NOT support Moat at all.

Bro complained to the Sun and got an apology, bet they don't print it though.....

SirBoobAlot · 15/07/2010 19:18

I thought at first some of them were fans of poor journalistic reports. But some of the people on them are saying it should be a lesson to women everywhere etc. No excuses for them - they're sick.

SomeGuy · 15/07/2010 19:27

why should they remove it? you can't censor everything you don't like.

Marjee · 15/07/2010 19:31

I clicked the link but it just takes me to my fb homepage. This is probably way out of context as I haven't actually read the page but I find the whole thing desperately sad. I know he did some terrible things but I was still sorry to hear about his death. I read somewhere that he told police no one cared about him before he shot himself, his own mother said he'd be better off dead. A tragic end to a tragic life imo.
