Have had a sht day. Kids winding me up a treat, discovered tail end (about 2 inches) of a bottle of Jaques from the weekend BBQ lurking in the back of the fridge. Couldnt be rsed getting a glass, so am now sitting on MN swigging from the bottle and eating jammie dodgers out of the packet.
Am I being unreasonable?

Nope. Go for it!

diamondsandtiaras · 14/07/2010 18:09

not at all.

monkeyfacegrace · 14/07/2010 18:14

Of course you are being unreasonable. Jammie dodgers are fucking vile and dry.

Mowgli1970 · 14/07/2010 18:15

Perfectly acceptable!

TheInvisibleManDidIt · 14/07/2010 18:20

Personally I think that having to lift the bottle to swig sounds like too much work.

You should just get a straw

now for another aibu - I have finished the remnants of one bottle, but there is another one (unopened) calling to me from the fridge. Am only halfway through the pack of JD's and its still an hour till bedtime, so AIBU to open the other bottle regardless of whether I use a glass or not?

It's that kind of day, start the other bottle, glass or no glass? Who cares, just enjoy.

TheInvisibleManDidIt · 14/07/2010 18:38

Go for it

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/07/2010 18:57

def not

swig away

Sparkletastic · 14/07/2010 18:58

Get a glass for the second bottle otherwise you might spill some trying to swig from it

TheInvisibleManDidIt · 14/07/2010 19:22

Not if she uses the straw she won't!

rewardgirl · 14/07/2010 19:27

If anyone is going to judge you for drinking straight from the J bottle, they're not worth worrying about

Enjoy (and drink some water before you go to bed so your head's not hurty in t'morning).

Sounds like a fab evening's entertainment to me!!

dippymare · 14/07/2010 19:59

You are being perfectly reasonable, why generate more washing up?
