I was thinking about this while watching Hugh F-W before. My childhood reading has moulded the ways I've wanted to eat over the years...

Swallows and Amazons was a massive favourite. I took my son camping on the shores of Windermere last Easter and took it to read to him. I had forgotten how much technical boaty stuff was in there. After about 20 mins he was fast asleep... I'd like to think it was all the fresh air but I think I bored him to sleep.

hewlett'sdaughter, i THINK it's in All But A Few, but that's based on the fact that a) i think I read that collection more than any other and b) guesswork looking at amazon pages. I can't find a site that will give contents for all the story collections. I would like to buy them all but i think that would cost hundreds!
