Just that basically!

Have done porrige with water but is impossible to spoon feed, toast with a tiny amount of organic strawberry jam is okay but im worried it is too sugary.

Other than that she normally has some fruit and sometines a Plum Organic baby biscuit.

I would be very gratefull for any ideas.

TIA

My DD often has oats with oat milk (she's allergic to dairy products), which I spoon feed, although we mostly do BLW. She loves it. How about toast with pumkinseed butter? I'd vary the bread, i.e. not always wheat-based bread.

Dry puffed oats (no sugar no salt)or other good cereal; pancakes with a little bit of cinnamon and honey; crumpets and Marmite have all gone down well with my DS.

Home made pancakes/dairy free ones?
Freefrom crumpets/crossaints/brioches
scrambled egg with oat milk?
Omlette again with oat milk
boiled egg sliced
sausages (chipolattas usually low salt or home made)
bacon
houmous on toast?
Marmite on toast
for jam if you go to a healy food shop then they often sell french conservatives which have less sugar than jam!
Homemade muffins/flapjacks
potato cakes
loads of cereals without milk or milk alternatives be oat milk or soya?

The problem I sometimes find with freefrom stuff is the high salt / sugar and the 99 other ingredients on the list.

Okay thanks for the ideas!

Re oat milk. She is on Nutramigen AA for her normal milk. Is oat milk okay at 8 months?

Never heard of pumkinseed butter. Is it easy to get hold of?

Completely forgot about Marmite (prob because I hate it but is worth trying!)

I forgot I alo give her one egg omelettes a fair bit.

Morning routine is pretty hectic but I could cook sausagess the night before.

Thanks everyone, I think I needed a kick up the backside to get my thinking cap on!

Punpkinseed butter you can get from health food shops. Also sugar free 'jams' and fruit spreads if you're concerned about sugar.

Be warned pumpkinseed butter is not to everyone's taste (DH thought being expected to eat it was grounds for divorce). If you don't want to do peanut butter (I make my own to avoid nasties) almond or cashew would be worth a try.
