Theoretical question aboutlatex allergy and food

I've had to keep my hand clean and dry for the last couple of weeks, so I wear a latex glove when handling food. If the glove tears while I'm preparing a meal, I pull it off and replace it, but this releases a big puff of the powder. The powder causes allergic reactions, doesn't it? So presumably the food could be contaminated.

Which got me wondering...if I served a meal that I had prepared while wearing a latex glove, to someone with a latex allergy, would they have a reaction?
