wheat, dairy and egg free cake recipe please

Hi, I remember reading on here a little while ago a recipe for egg, wheat and dairy free cake, like a fool I did not copy it down, and now I can't find it.

Does anyone have a recipe that tastes good. I cook wheat and dairy free for my daughter but feel bad, because it has egg in my son can't have it. I have tried a few from recipe books but they are horrid.

With the butter replaced with non-dairy marg, and using egg substitute... it's supposed to be a very nice cake, but I've never tried it myself.

or do advanced search allergy section for boiled chocolate cake, think that was gluten free

Glebe Farm Chocolate Cake Mix (available from Waitrose) can be made without eggs and is pretty yummy

I also made a Hummingbird Bakery banana loaf with egg replacement powder which wasn't bad (my DD scoffed it down)

If you look on the guardian website there is a delicious vegan cake, a dan leppard recipe. You could use wheat free flour with it.

I find these vegan cake recipes the best for egg/dairy free. Love the pecan brownies and am sure you can make some of these with alternative flours.

Thank you, will get cooking this weekend. I did make some lush biscuits yesterday with rice and potato flour, pure, sugar and vanilla essence. They were so nice that I already have to cook some more!!!!! YUM!!!!!

oh, do share hanreeoak - I'm just dying for some wheat/dairy/egg-free recipes! I'm breast feeding and craving calories like nothing else and nuts aren't agreeing with me, so cake it'll have to be!
