I think that's a bit harsh babybarrister. I am wheat intolerant which means I can eat wheat without getting really ill but it causes bloating, indigestion & tiredness & I feel much better without it

you're being cynical .

I'm one of those terrible people who don't eat wheat (any gluten actually) because although my coeliac blood test is negative it makes me ill. As for losing weight on it -I wish! It actually makes it harder for me to keep my weight down as gluten free food often has a higher glycaemic index value than wholemeal bread and other wheat based foods. So I'd like to eat wheat but then I'd be too exhausted to do anything and if I went into the kitchen I'd forget why I was there.
