We've been referred there with DD for some allergy testing.

Would you recommend it? What are the staff like?

I'm a regular who has namechanged because I don't want to post location info.

However, QMC is good in that the consultant there are generally some of the best. But, the place is outdated, disorganised and you often have to wait a whole morning for a 9.30am appointment.

The allergy clinic used to be run at City Hospital and then it was much better (in and out within an hour), but I absolutely hate QMC with a vengence!

We actually moved to Derby General for exactly this reason.

Which consultant do you have?

That's a different one to the one we saw then. The one we saw was rather forgetful and we had two occassions where he made an appointment to see us but then when we showed up he couldn't remember what the purpose of the appointment was !

Apart from that though, the medical staff there are as I say, some of the best, but heavily overworked and consequently clinics end up often running late.
