Gloves for 18month old baby - Long Haul Flight

My baby boy is roughly 18 months old and unfortunately we have to make a long haul flight in the next few weeks.

He is severly allergic to multiple things so as usual feel the usual sense of dread/terror.

I thought it would prob be clever to try get him a few pairs of cotton gloves for the flight so if he does happen to touch anything, I can quickly take them off.
He is obviously up and walking now, so wont be able to keep him in his seat for all the time. So feel the risks are even greater.

Cannot seem to find anyone who stocks gloves for this age except thick wooly mittens in stores. Wld appreciate any suggestions or general guidance.

Thanks
