Hay fever or not hay fever?

My daughter has never shown any symptoms of hay fever before, (9yrs) and suddenly she sneezes and has itchy eyes...but she mostly sneezes at like 3 'o'clock in the morning, surely she would not be having an allergic reaction at this time?

sounds a bit odd, and doesn't sound like hayfever. most hayfever kicks in much earlier in the summer, April/May I think. could it possibly something in her room or bed? pillow or duvet?

Has it only just started? Or has it been going on for a while?

could be one particular grass pollen that starts at this time of year.

tree pollen allergies are march /april, then after that grass pollens kick in.

during autumn, tree mold ( as in rotting leaves ) is the problem.

allergies do happen out of the blue.
