Gluten free bread - what is "refreshing"?

I have read quite a few times about refreshing gluten free bread. What is this and what does it do?

bunging it in the oven to recrisp it. can't say i've found it to work very well.

have you tried the Genius bread from Tesco? is just like real bread. £2.50 a loaf but fabulous.
