Where do you buy Aveeno products?

DS has a bit of eczema behind his knees but it has cleared up through bathing him less often and using oats in his bath.

However, I have heard Aveeno recommended as it is oats-based. Which product is good for baths? And where can you buy it? (Tried a big branch of Boots and Holland and Barrett but no luck)

TIA.

we get it on prescription, so free as well as good.

Go to your GP and ask for Aveeno cream on prescription. You can get it in Boots but it's more than £6 so if you can get it for free, all the better!

For baths, put a handful of porridge oats in the toe of a pair of old tights and swish that in the water until the goes cloudy. You can get Aveeno stuff for the bath - a friend brought some back from the States for me - but it's mostly powdered oats so you may as well just try oats.

You can buy it in Boots and most chemists round here (ask at the pharmacy if not on the shelves) but like the others we get it on prescription.

Superdrug usually has it in stock

dd1 has really bad eczema and is using dermol but gp is going to change her on to Aveeno in a couple of weeks so we will be getting it gratis too

I always get it from www.soft-skin.co.uk they are really helpful there and delivery is really quick. They sell the whole range most of which is not available anywhere else

once you get it on prescription. ask your usual pharmacy to get it for you. after a few prescriptions they will start to stock it. that was my experience anyway.

Worrier28 · 14/07/2010 13:45

Or you can get the baby range from www.toysbythebundle.co.uk standard delivery is 14 -18 days though.

Soft-skin seems to have run out of a lot of stuff.

We get it on prescription. I can't recommend the bath oil though, it's perfumed with something and made my dd itch something dreadful. Plain oats in a muslin, or oilatum is much better.

Prinnie · 14/07/2010 21:35

I've bought it from fragrancemad.com before - I think it was about £6 for the cream and that was with free delivery.

my dd1 gets it on perscription and i share alot of it out between my family as it is a great hand cream
