ds can tolerate a little milk as ingredients iyswim, but if I use milk to make a sauce / drink his eczema flares.

So I use rice or oat milk in cooking, as his formula milk he still has for his bottles is really disgusting and I would have to make a separate sauce for me.

I tried making an angel delight using rice milk, but it just didnt thicken. I' d like to make him some custard, but am wondering if THAT will thicken up - perhaps it's something to do with cow's milk proteins making it thicken, or something?

Has anyone successfully made angel delight or custard with oat or rice milk?

We have made custard using oat milk and it was just fine .

It was DH that did it and I think he used the normal quantities etc.

It was yummy .

Can he have soya as soya milk makes a better custard than rice milk

I've used rice milk before for custard, and it stayed thin.
