Hello fellow mnetters. Hope someone can help!
My dd is 19 weeks old and has been exclusively bf. However I am now in the process of trying to introduce a bottle of formual a day.

Have tried lots of different bottles and teats and only 3 days ago she finally seems to be taking a little from the NUK bottle/teat.
Also on the first day of trying the latex teat I also started using powdered Aptimal as opposed to the ready made in cartons.

Straight after taking only 3oz, a red rash with small white dots, appeared around her mouth and chin. It was totally gone after 2-3 hours.

So the next day I tried a silicone teat but powder formula again. Rash still appeared. Is it possble to be allergic to formula and if so does that mean ALL formulas do you think?

she could be allergic to milk, which means all formulas yes

Sorry mads1, but it does sound like a dairy allergy.

You can get hypoallergenic formulas or soya formula, but bf babies tend to not take them as they don't taste that nice. It can be done though.

Your best bet is to go to your GP and get a referral to an allegy clinic.
