Cake recipes that don't use dairy or eggs?

I have gone dairy and egg free as my 7 week old seems to react when i eat it.

I would like to make some cakes that I can eat too ( have two older boys who love cake and cooking). Can you make cakes without egg in particular?

We are doing some apple tasting tomorow and plan to make apple puree with the remains - I would love to make a cake with it after, but have no idea how to do this without egg. Any recipes please???

what you need is a book called "vegan with a vengeance"
has some stunningly good cake and pudding recipes in.

Have a look at this thread recently in the Recipe section.
If you go to the recipes on this site and search for baking recipes that are egg and dairy free you can find a few.
