Possible allergy to SMA Gold??

Hi, my dd is 7 weeks old and has been on SMA Gold since birth (seriously regretting not breast feeding ) She has now developed bad ecezma on her face and is projectile vomiting after every feed - Started around the same time as her rash.

We had her in hospital yesterday so that they could check her face and ears - Very swollen. They said she couldnt be allergic to her milk but Im not sure.

Can I just change her milk or do I need to do it gradually? Has anyone had this? What milk worked for your lo?

I am seeing the health visitor on Monday and Doctor on Tuesday so may hang on until then.

My grand-daughter in hospital and being treated for cows milk allergy, for the last two weeks she has been so unwell following a bout of diahorhea. She is being given 4 x 10 ml neocate daily since saturday, and also has tpn feed. She doesnt seem to be absorbing fluid in her tummy. Anyone had this experience with their baby or any ideas. Someone has suggested donated breastmilk but combination of allergy? and tummy bug have had her dehydrated a few times.I am so worried and docs are waiting for biopsy results taken 8 days ago.:{

Gramag... I'm so sorry, you must be very worried.

Although my baby dd has a cows milk protein allergy she has never been admitted due to it.

She too is on neocate and is now doing very well.
Sorry i can't help but just wanted you to know that someone had read your post...

Maybe if you started a new thread someone with the same experience may see it.
