My baby was born in June 2026- I was not able to breastfeed for longer than a week for medical reasons.

We started her on Aptamil, she was fine on it for a few weeks and then got SEVERE reflux and would scream till she passed out and scrunched up her body and arched her back. We took her to the paediatrician. They gave us Baby Gaviscone and Lanzoprozol. That didn’t work, they them tried Aptamil Pepti 1- two weeks later, exactly the same. They then said it was CMPA and put us on Neocate- that seemed to do the trick for about 2-3 weeks then she just stopped drinking- literally was having 30-50ml every 3 hours. She was taking less than half of her minimum ml per 24 hours. We were advised that if it continued she would need to be admitted and tube fed. My mum suggested Kendamil Goat Milk formula- she then started eating again and even had second bottles! 1 week down the line- we are right back here again. She cries the most heartbreaking cry and exhausts herself. I have followed all the advice and have paid almost £1000 on private paediatrician consultations in desperation to help my little girl. Has anyone experienced this at all? I am so deflated and tired and just at a loss.
