Advise on Skin issues
Has anyone dealt with an excema/allergy baby, my baby (7month) has a rash that completely and comes back all day long everyday, its red, dry, slightly raised and flakey (also ive noticed sometimes this gets so bad his fingers are abit swollen making it so hard to cut his nails hense making the itch worsee) but when its gone it completely goes almost except parts that got injured due to itching.

This happens multiple times a day and the itching is driving me crazy, my GP said its excema but it also looks like an allergy but i dont know the triggers my LO is severely allergic to eggs and milk he is yet to be tested for other things.

I just wanted to ask has anyone dealt with a similar rash and what did it turn out to be, and any advise on how to deal with this? 🌷🌷🌻

Ive attached some photos of the rash peaking and fading.

Allergic eczema is one form of eczema so it doesn’t have to be one or the other. I have chronic lifelong eczema and mine doesn’t go away it stays for days/weeks. If it’s eczema ask the doctor for some treatment for it and use an emollient multiple times a day.

Oo I see thank you :) my sister has lifelong severe chronic excema and I have dyshidrotic eczema, we were both kinda confused why his excema keeps coming and going throughout the day everyday because our excema is so different. I do use emollients, steroids and ointments but its kinda hard because it keeps coming back due to some unknown trigger.
