Does anyone with a histamine-intolerant child have a few easy dinner ideas you can suggest for me?
DD was already tricky to feed as she won't touch fish, eggs or red meat, and struggles sensorily with chicken (can do nuggets or meatballs but not a chunk of meat). Meals end up being fairly pasta-centric, and a lot of her protein normally comes from lentils, beans and cheese.
We now need to follow a low-histamine diet for 2 weeks to a month, and without tomatoes, pesto, halloumi, tinned beans and soy sauce I honestly don't know what to make! She had pasta with cottage cheese, cucumber and apple last night. Bit puffy this morning but no major flareup.
Does anyone have any easy low-histamine meals suitable for a picky, meat-averse kid they can recommend?
