Suspected CMPA with 11 week baby now extra sleepy

Just looking for some advice my baby for the past month has had extremely watery stools and had one time with blood present in that month I took him to GP multiple times which they said it would improve it did not. Since then we went to A&E
with him as advised and they placed him on CMPA Nutramigen 1, we have been using this only 3 days now since he is no longer waking himself for feeds and is going extremely long stretches at night sleeping, 6 hours then I wake him up to feed then another 6 hours, is this normal with a formula change from cows milk he isn’t hard to wake or anything but it sleeping majority of the day with around 45 min of a wake window which is really different to normal, what should I do next? Has anyone else experienced this?

If he's finally comfortable he's probably catching up on sleep, poor thing will have been horribly horribly sleep deprived with the discomfort.

Mine slept through the night and napped like a champ when we made the switch - always get checked, and you can always wake to feed, if you’re worried x

How much milk is he having @Olivebranch23? He should be having roughly 2.5 Floz per pound in weight a day. So if he’s say 12 pounds, that’s 30 Floz in 24 hours. Sorry of you already knew
