been waking up feeling rubbish for months, chest tight, head foggy, mood off. i kept blaming bad sleep or stress, but then i read that constant allergies, like dust mites, can actually mess with your mood too

so i swapped my old mattress topper for a full-zip cover that seals everything in. didn’t expect much, but a week in, i actually feel clearer. breathing’s easier, mornings don’t feel like a fight.

weird how sorting out your sleep setup can end up sorting you out a bit too. anyone else had that happen?

I have tree pollen hay fever and part of the year it makes me absolutely exhausted, I think when the birch pollen is out. I have an Ikea air purifier in my bedroom and it has definitely helped with my sleep quality. The most noticeable difference is that when the pollen is bad I used to wake up with a very dry mouth because I couldn't breathe through my nose, but with the purifier that doesn't happen.

yes exactly! different triggers, same exhaustion. it’s mad how much energy it steals before you even realise it. so glad the purifier helped sorting the air is half the battle. proper win that!
