Hi this is my first post on here I just wondered if any mums had been through similar and can help.. baby is just over 6 months now and started showing signs of an intolerance/allergy. Her stools are constantly dihoreah always leaking through nappies and clothes. Rash on trunk with bad itching around the neck causing bleeding. I went to the doctors and they confirmed eczema and said it could be a dairy intolerance so prescribed Aptamil Pepti 1. She has now been on this formula for over 24 hours and her skin is significantly worse. It was never this bad before moving onto this new formula will attach some photos. I have contacted GP again today and sent images of the worsened skin/rash and they said to keep her on it and review in a week but I’m so upset and reluctant to carry on giving it her when it’s made her so much worse. I’m trying to understand why a formula that’s been prescribed to help has made it worse than it’s ever been before and is this normal?!
have had a friend recommend Neocate as she has had a similar experience with her baby. Has anyone else had the same and moved onto Neocate? Helppp
