Debilitating eczema on fingergtips-allergic to phone?

currently typing with cotton gloves and marigolds on as my finger tips are in such a bad way with contact dermatitis.
I'm wondering if anyone discovered they are allergic to the phone screen or laptop? I'm thinking I could have a nickel allergy. The skin on my fingers of the right hand was peeling, itchy and sore so I started using my left hand to text on phone etc and very quickly the two fingers I was using started to go the same way. It's a nightmare. Even trying to figure out for sure if it's my phone is difficult as it's almost impossible not to use it at all. It's an iPhone 14. My laptop is a MacBook Air.
I'd be really grateful if someone could give me advice or if anyone's been through this and found a way out of it!
I'm using dermovate and Protopic on. my hands, which helps but as soon as I touch the tech stuff it comes back.. AAGHHHHH! I must admit I'm assuming it's the phone and laptop because of where the allergy is and it seems to correlate with the use of them.

Thanks for your help!

I used to get contact dermatitis when I had an iPhone, but it was from the charging port rather than the screen.
I rest the phone on my little finger and always had dermatitis at that spot on my finger. It itched so much!

What phone do you use now? I think for me it's from the screen and possibly the sides.

Do you not have a case on it? Case and glass screen protector might help.

Are you taking antihistamines?

I have a case on it and also recently bought a leather case in case that might help. I don't have a glass cover, I'll def try that. Didn't actually know that was an option.

I have a Xiaomi now (I stopped buying expensive phones as didn't feel they were good value any more). I still get a little bit of itchy but no where near what I had when I used an iPhone. So assume the composition must be different.

Are you taking antihistamines?
