Looking for anyone in the same boat or has any experience. Baby has Non-IgE mediated CMPA (delayed response).

Have you successfully completed the milk ladder? How many attempts did it take and what age was baby when you managed?

TIA

Most children will be able to complete the milk ladder between 2 and 5.
My daughter is 5 in a few months and the best we have managed is one crumb every other day of dairy biscuit. More recently we have made a bit more progress with coconut biscuit recently and she can have a large crumb every day but when I moved up to a piece the size of a pea she reacted.
Number of attempts is up to you and depends on how far you get each time. We have only done the milk ladder twice although we have tested other foods she's allergic too. The first time we did it at 17 months, she failed on the first crumb and screamed for 2 days, I made the decision not to test again for at least a year and the dietitian was happy with this. If for example she has got up up half a biscuit I probably would have tested again in 3 months.
Most ladders start with 1/4 of a biscuit although the slowest ladder starts with a crumb. If they failed with a ladder starting with 1/4 of a biscuit I'd try again in 6 months but with a slower ladder.
