Hi all. I picked dd3 up from the childinders today and noticed that her eyes were quite red and swollon (right eye more). I thought she may be tired. I then took her to my mums and I then noticed her nose was dripping clear. I went to the chemist and asked what I could give her for her eyes and I was given some optex eye drops. Since I have found she has a angry rash on the bottom of her back.

I called my childminder earlier to see if she had anything different to eat today and she said no just the normal veg and chicken but she did say she used a differant sunscreen today on DD. I am not sure if it ould be a reaction to this as I thought that would affect her skin more than her eyes and nose. When I picked her up she was sat on a rug surrounded by bushes in the shade and am starting to think it could be hayfever but can babies get hayfever?? Neither myself or DD's dad suffers with allergies.

Two of my children suffer from a combination of those symptoms - one gets the red eyes and runny nose, the other gets skin rashes. They both come on in spring/summer, when the pollen is high and the grass has just been cut.

I would keep a little diary to record if/when this happens again and the circumstances so you can build up a picture.
Don't worry - there's lots of help available!
