Plasters that wont cause an allergic reaction

Hi does anyone have any recommendations for plasters that wont cause an allergic reaction? My little girl reacts terribly to normal plasters with the angry red rash lasting days after the plaster has been removed. I’ve looked into hypoallergenic plasters but they all seem to get mixed reviews with people still saying they are reacting to them. I wondered if anyone here had a similar allergy and found plasters that they didn’t react to? My little girl is five so has fairly regular knee scraps at school ect so I dont think not using plasters will be an option.

Hi OP

Sorry, I don’t but will be interested in any answers because I experience the same problem!

Hope someone knows.

It's usually the adhesive that people react to.
Not the simplest solution, but have you looked at micropore tape to hold a non adhesive dressing in place? That style tape is certainly kinder to the sensitive skin in this household, but I think your daughter reacts more in the first place, so might not work.

The only ones widely available that I don't react to in any way are the elastoplast sensitive. It's latex that causes problems for me. There are cheaper latex free brands but I find most of the ones that I've tried sweaty and I don't heal well under them.
