Brand new to Mumsnet, so hello!

Me and my mum both got poorly during Christmas time. I got the better end of it but was still stuck in bed. I had a horrible stuffed up nose alongside other symptoms, everything but the cold has gone! Have tried taking vitamins, but my nose is constantly running and I’m starting to doubt if it is just a long term cold or allergies? Would it be worth taking an anti histamine every single day? Just getting me down now as it’s every single day, feeling pretty rotten. (24f)

Do you rinse your nose with salt water? This was a game changer for me.Twice a day, don't get as many colds and my nose is mostly not bunged up.

Greensnow no, I don’t! That’s a good point. Would a NetiPot do the trick? I have autism and I have quite bad sensory issues but I think I would be fine with it! :) Thank you. Willing to try anything right now LOL

Sorry I don't know what a Netipot is.Just checked, yes I expect so, it says just make sure you clean it out regularly. You can use a bowl, just put some salt in water, I use sea salt.Sniff it up your nostrals best morning and evening. You will see results.I work with kids and have stayed cold free this winter.Okay we are not quite through winter yet but really it works. You just need to be consequent.Good luck
