Windy nighttime’s - swallowing air or CMPI?

My 4m old has been EBF since birth, we’ve just started giving him a bottle the last 10 days of formula. Only 30-120 max per day mostly evening when he’s very hungry.

4/10 nights have been bad - trapped wind causing him lots of pain, similar to newborn days. He’d outgrown this but it’s back. The other nights however have been fine.

is it possible it’s CMPI? Or is it just air getting in as he’s new to the bottle? Otherwise he’s happy in himself.
