Sma alframino and weight gain

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone could help. My baby is now 5 months old. He’s been on sma alframino for approx 8 weeks now. He’s just been put on omeprazole aswell a week ago. I got him weighed 5 weeks ago to keep track and I’ve been today. He’s only put a small amount on but I expected more as he seems to be rather heavier. I thought he would gain weight now so it’s made me worry. Could it be to do with fats missing from the sma alframino (sorry if I sound think this is all new to me and nobody I ask seem to really answer).

All formula has to be nutritionally equal so it won't be anything intrinsically wrong with the formula.
He might not have been drinking as much if his reflux has been problematic. It might be worth getting him weighed after a few weeks on omperazole.

Has he started moving? My daughter stopped gaining weight between 7 and 13 months she was very slow to engage with weaning and didn't consume enough breastmilk then alfamino to keep up with her energy demands. She never lost weight but I think she only gained 200g in 5 months or thereabout! It took until 13 months for her to eat her first meal and prior to that food was no more than 2-3 spoons a day! She needed 3 meals and formula to gain weight and was 20 months before she ate enough to be able to reduce her formula.
I was told it's not uncommon for weight gain to slow when they get active especially if their appetite doesn't increase to meet their needs

Was he weighed in the same scales and do you know if they've been calibrated recently? We had a few rogue weigh-in results with DC2 that I chose to ignore at the time as they were happy and smiley and seemed content after feeds.
