20 month old recurring chest infections and wheezing

I need a hand hold and a lot of advice from mums. I have 3 children DS 7 yr old, DD1 4 year old and DD2 20 month old. As the topic says, my 20 month old has been having recurring cold, cough and every time it escalated to chest infections and wheezing. She was given Ventolin to manage wheezing and few times amoxicillin to cure her. However I feel like she was constantly on cold and wheeze and hardly few weeks she was all free between infections. Last month she started a new nursery and she started having fever, runny nose, cough and wheeze. I thought it's because it's a new place and I expected that. I was trying to manage her wheeze with Ventolin however she had low grade fever, cough and wheeze continued for 2 weeks.

Then I took her to gp who gave her amoxicillin and checked her oxygen level which was 97% so he sent us home. After a week of antibiotic she was still not getting better so I took her to A&E and she got admitted after symptoms did not get better even after 5 puffs of Ventolin and 4 puffs of atrovent.

Then they took her bloods and x ray and confirmed low iron and negative for pneumonia. However they have given her nebulizers every 2 hours, IV magnesium sulfate as bronchodilator and started azithromycin only then her symptoms got better. We were discharged in 2 days with brown inhaler (to be given morning and night) Ventolin every 6 hours for 28 days and montelukast granules 4mg for 28 days. We have been allocated a asthma nurse after diagnosing her as preschool asthma child.

I am so worried and this is all new to me. I am on a position to handle all these along with other 2 kids and a full time job. I constantly worry about the worse. I know several kids have this condition, some may outgrow, some may need Inhaler and they can manage. I read somewhere that sometimes it can be cardiac asthma and that worries me a lot. What if it is that and if it's cardiac asthma wouldn't that be in the x ray which they have taken ?

Please I need your help and advise
Thank you 🙏
