Hi all I do wash her clothes in non bio detergent only - in terms of getting a referral I did bring this up to GP but his words were ‘we don’t do any referrals for babies this young’ I mean is he brushing me off or is this true ?? She is 6 months , also thanks guys for the cream suggestions I will give them a go , i might have to pay privately to get somewhere because the GPS are really not much help

@Beepop22 that's ridiculous! My baby was referred at 3 months' old. They are almost 11 months now, and are seeing the dermatologist in September. It has been a long wait, and the referral was labelled "urgent".

Maybe try speaking to a different doctor at the practice? Or failing that, I took baby to A&E. Another time the doctor got us admitted to the children's ward.

Hi, I am so sorry to hear about your situation. What worked almost immediately for us was something called The Aron Regime. It is a compound cream and you can get it if you book an appointment with a doctor in North London (by Zoom) called Dr Boyden. The Hill Medical centre Northfield House, Northfield Road ,rear of 117 Stamford Hill, London, N16 5RS (020) 8800 5066. It changed our life and we only needed the cream for a few weeks before our baby's eczema was completely under control. Please try it - you will get your life back. Wishing you all the best.
